Before your first driving lesson, we will need to check that your provisional license is valid.

(You can still learn to drive if you have penalty points on your license, but not if you are currently disqualified)

The ‘paper counterpart’ which used to hold, this information was abolished some time ago, and even if you still have one, it is no longer valid.

You will need to generate a code via the DVLA Website and send this code to XT.

It’s easy to do this:

Please goto:  https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence, with your driving license number (thats the long number on the front of your license) and your National Insurance Number

Click on “Share your license information” and then “Get a code”

 

Send the code along with the last 8 letters of your driving license to XT, either by phone/text or email.
