Derek is a DVSA Grade A Instructor and Cardington Test Grade A with years of experience.  Qualifying in 1998, he was an Area Training Manager for a large national driving school responsible for three instructor training colleges in the Midlands. Derek is an Advanced Driver and member of the IAM, as well as a DVSA Fleet registered trainer. He has also taught 11-17 to year-olds off-road for a national company.
