Leigh Brookes

Leigh is a former Police officer, joining in 1996 as Special Constable, before serving a full-time in 999 response and roads policing across South Worcestershire leaving the Police in 2010.  SC/CTC cleared since 1996 and like all ADI’s holds an Enhanced CRB/DBS Certificate.

In the past prior to becoming a driving instructor, he worked as a freelance Ambulance Response trainer, and was involved with RoSPA and IAM local groups in the Midlands, passing the voluntary car driving and tutor tests, meaning in addition to Police and Ambulance experience, graded by the DVSA as a Grade A Instructor, he has passed all the civilian advanced driving qualifications, from the 3 organisations as well as the related trainer, and  ‘Train the Trainer’ qualifications.

One of the highlights of his career was being invited to Buckingham Palace in 2017 for his contribution to advanced driver training.

He has for several years been an Advanced Driving Examiner for the DIA, (the only civilian advanced qualification examined by professional instructors), and worked for a short time for the DVSA an Examiner. He is a member of the Governing Committee of the ADI National Joint Council.

Leigh trains drivers at all levels, in Worcester, Evesham, Redditch and the surrounding area.
